MicroBlend Achieves DuPont Titanium Technologies' Endorsement of Exterior Paints
Gilbert, AZ - MicroBlend technologies' (MicroBlend) Generation 4.5 line of exterior paints have received the approval of DuPont Titanium Technologies to market its highest quality exterior paints under the DuPontTM Endorsement Mark.
The approval, granted on August 23 by DuPont, follows extensive outdoor testing by an independent laboratory to determine that the products manufactured using MicroBlend's APMTM system equal or exceed DuPont's quality standards.
Various tests were conducted to meet DuPont's quality standards, including outdoor exposure testing and application testing for hide, flow and leveling, block resistance, touch-up, adhesion, low temperature film formation and color acceptance. MicroBlend's Generation 4.5 exterior paints were benchmarked against the leading and highest quality exterior paints in the U.S.
The approval for quality endorsement branding of MicroBlend's exterior paints by DuPont continues a strategic partnership to maintain standards for the various performance characteristics of premium quality paint lines. MicroBlend's commitment to the use of DuPont's Ti-Pure® titanium dioxide (TiO2) , produced by the most advanced particle and surface treatment technologies, includes the integration of Six Sigma tools in achieving continuous improvement. DuPont's partnership contributes to MicroBlend's white paints with superior hiding power and brightness, and as well as brighter, cleaner colors in tinted systems.
